Jealous - The Week of February 1st 2011

Jealous...

you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,

Exodus 20:5

I am your God and do not wish to share the worship of My children or My creation for that matter with anything or anyone. I am jealous of My creation, as Creator, I and I alone am entitled to be worshipped. Yet, many – many people flatly refuse to worship Me, to accept Me as God and Creator. Then there are those of My children who have accepted Me as God and Creator yet they worship Me along with other things or people. I am jealous of such actions. They worship a child, friend or husband. They worship material possessions, activities and money. At anytime if they choose these things over Me, My Will, My Purposes and My Ways they have chosen to worship the things instead of the Creator and Giver of the people and things. Am I not the Creator of the one they are worshipping? Am I not the Giver of the things they are worshipping? Worship Me and Me alone for I am your God – I am a jealous God.

God does speak

God still and continually speaks to His people. For those who want to hear Him, He makes Himself known; for those who refuse to hear Him He is done speaking.

Blessings - The Week of January 25th 2011

Blessings...

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, - Ephesians 1:3

The blessings I have for My children are without number. My love for you and My desire to bless you is always at the forefront of My thoughts toward you. So many blessings are poured out upon you regardless of you or your actions. There are other blessings that cannot be given without obedience preceding the blessing. Then there are others just waiting, for the asking. My love for you causes Me to bless you. In good times and in bad I want to bless you because I love you. Then there are times I only wish that you would be obedient to what I ask and require so that I could pour out the many, many blessings that come when the requirements of My Word are met. Do you not see the “I will …if you will…” - those are the times when obedience is a factor to your being blessed. You have not worked for your blessing; you have made room for your blessing to manifest. I have your blessing and I always desire to bestow upon you that blessing. Then there are those blessings that sit here and wait for you. Wishing to be with you if only you would ask Me for them. There is so much I have for you that you will never receive if you do not ask Me. Do not be afraid just ask. Don’t get to your heavenly home one-day only to see in the storehouses of your mansion all the beautiful packages filled with the blessings I wanted you to have but was never able to send, because you did not ask for them or refused to be obedient to what was required to receive them.

Newness - The Week of January 18th 2011

Newness...

How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings.

Psalm 36:7

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

2 Corinthians 5:17

Those children who can truly see and trust in My loving-kindness are the ones who walk in a blessed freshness of life. I, to refresh and keep their spirit, use their trust in My ultimate goodness on their behalf. Without trust in My loving-kindness, the heaviness of the aloneness will overtake even My own children. If they could only see and know how I see them. How they are in the spiritual realm often does not appear to be who they are in the natural realm. But who they are in the spiritual realm, how I see them is who they truly are. They are instantly new – yet they know it not. The minute I bring them into My Spiritual Kingdom, they are made new. All the old falls away like a garment dropped from a body. Where I live, they are new. If only they could submit to the manifestation of that newness, what glory would be shown. They must first believe they are new and many do not believe that they are a new creation and that the old has passed away. They cling tightly to the old in a love-hate relationship. While it eats away at the spiritual power I desire for them to have. They are new – why can’t they see themselves as new? Why, My children, must you continue to view yourselves in a way I overcame the moment you came to Me? Don’t be afraid to let go of that old and know I your Christ have a beautiful new garment for you to wear and it may get some dirt, rips and snags on it as you go through your journey in life but you can wear it on the journey. You can wear it now.

I am your dearest friend and you should be Mine. When the rest of the world turns it’s back and runs, I will be there with you. Through every heartbreak and every suffering, I will walk with you, for I am your friend. When family flees, I will be there. When human care and kindness is not enough, I will be there, for I am your friend. I walk with you back down the long road, when you have gotten far off the narrow road, for I am your friend. I laid down My life so I could be your friend. I am your friend and I am a Faithful Friend. Show you are My friend by doing what I ask of you. Follow your Friend, for your Friend has only that which is in your best interest planned. I have shared the things the Father showed Me while I was on the earth and I will share with you the things you need to know day by day, as you draw close to your Friend. Our friendship was bought with blood and held together by trust and love. I am glad you are My friend.

Sacrifice - The Week of January 4th 2011

Sacrifice...

 

And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling aroma.

Ephesians 5:2

I gave Myself out of pure love for My children. Nothing they could ever do is going to help them to understand the depth of that type of love. They however, can embrace and enjoy My love. They need not feel unworthy or sorrowful for what I done for them. I am not sorry – I know that I have made them worthy. Yet, they do not see. Why can’t they see? Because human flesh has no ability for such expression of love. That love flows only from My veins yet somehow they still feel they must match it. Yet, it is just a feeling, for their spirit knows that type of love can never be matched. But because I have loved them with such depth, they should put ways their feeling of unworthiness and put on the garment of royalty (1 Peter 2:9) that I bought for them with My blood. Then having done that they would be able to walk in love toward their brothers and sisters having first loved Me and second loved themselves – for love breeds love. Without My love, they can’t love themselves and without loving themselves, they can’t love one another. Love is that sweet smelling aroma that I so desire to smell coming from My children just as the Father smelled it coming from the cross.
